A Curious Feeling is the debut solo album from Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks. It was released in 1979 on Charisma Records.
The album is loosely based on the book Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.
The instrumental piece "From the Undertow" was used in the 1978 British movie The Shout, for which Banks, with Mike Rutherford, composed the incidental music. No soundtrack of the movie is available. The piece was originally intended to be the intro to "Undertow" from the Genesis album ...And Then There Were Three... (hence the title), but it was omitted from the song.
The cover design is by Hothouse, and the cover painting is Wuluwait - Boatman of the Dead by Australian artist Ainslie Roberts.
The album was recorded at ABBA's Polar Music Studios during a brief Genesis hiatus.

The Wicked Lady is the soundtrack to the 1983 remake of the film of the same title. It was composed by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks. The first side of the album features Banks performing solo versions of themes from the soundtrack. The second side is the actual soundtrack performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2001, the Genesis Official Home said a CD reissue of The Wicked Lady is planned but nothing has been heard since. This remains the only entire Genesis-related LP never to have been released on CD.

• Side two consists of orchestrated versions played by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of London (leader Sydney Sax), recorded at St. Peter's Church, Morden.

Soundtracks is a collection of soundtrack pieces from the films Quicksilver and Lorca and the Outlaws with music composed by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks.
• A short section of Banks' music heard in the film Quicksilver did not appear on either the soundtrack album or Banks' Soundtracks album.
• Most of the tune to the track "Lorca" was reused in the song "Queen of Darkness" from the Bankstatement album (1989).
• "Smilin’ Jack Casey" is available only on this album. It is not available on the Quicksilver soundtrack album.
• A section of the song "Shortcut to Somewhere" was performed live for the first time when Genesis played a special concert for the 40th anniversary of Atlantic Records in 1988. It is the only Tony Banks solo song to have been played live by the band.

Bankstatement is a solo project by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks, issued under a band name. The other "band" members were singers Alistair Gordon and Jayney Klimek.
Banks had the idea for Bankstatement after hearing of the success that Mike and the Mechanics was having in both Europe and America.

Still was a solo album released by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks in 1991 on Virgin Records in the UK and Giant Records in the US. The album was originally going to be named after the track "Still It Takes Me By Surprise", but was later shorted to Still. Despite a fairly heavy promotional effort by Giant Records, the album still failed to sell well.

Strictly Inc. is the self-titled project album, released by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks, and Wang Chung lead vocalist Jack Hues, in 1995 on Virgin Records. Tony Banks wanted the album release—as the title suggested—with no reference to the band members; but the record company went against his wishes.
It was released September 11th, 1995 in the UK. The album has never been released in the USA. The album is called Strictly Inc instead of Strictly Incognito because there is already a band in the UK named Incognito.)
There were three extra tracks that did not make it onto the album: two instrumentals and one song with vocals whose lyrics were written by Nik Kershaw. The album features a 17 minute opus called 'An Island in the Darkness' considered to be among Tony's best solo pieces.

Seven: A Suite for Orchestra is the first classical solo album by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks. It was released by Naxos Records in 2004. The suite is performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Mike Dixon. Banks plays piano on "Spring Tide" and "The Ram".
